Privacy

This page explains what Look Mom, a plugin! (“the app”) and this page send and store. Short version: your plugin list stays on your Mac.

What stays on your Mac

The list of your plugins, their folders, sizes and History. The app downloads one shared list of current versions and compares it with your plugins on your Mac. Nothing about your plugins is uploaded.

When you buy

Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record, collects your name, email, billing address and payment details. We get your order and license key from Lemon Squeezy, not your card details. See the Lemon Squeezy Privacy Policy.

When you activate a license

The app sends your license key and the name of your Mac to our license server, which checks it with Lemon Squeezy. The server keeps a one-way hash of the key, not the key itself. The app checks the license again from time to time.

When you add an app to Your Apps

The app sends the app’s name, bundle identifier, version and update feed address, if it has one. The server stores them with the hash of your key, so the limit of 3 apps works. To find the latest version, the app’s name and publisher may be sent to a web search run by Anthropic (Claude). The latest version is then shown to everyone who has that app installed, without saying who added it. A record that hasn’t been checked for 2 months is removed.

Updates

At launch the app checks for its own update. That request includes the app version and macOS version, like any update check.

Notify me

If you leave your email on the software page, it’s stored with Supabase and used once, to tell you the app is out. It isn’t shared or added to other lists.

Where it lives

License and Your Apps records are stored with Supabase. The website runs on Vercel and uses the analytics described in the site Privacy Policy.

Your choices

Deactivating the app on a Mac frees the license slot. To get your records corrected or deleted, email info@lukashev.studio. Data is never sold.
